Are You a Carer?

If you are please let us know - we may be able to help you

There is a wealth of information on the NHS website about carers and caring. Below are some links into the site that we hope you will find useful.

Carers UK is a national organisation providing help and support for carers. They can provide help and support in filling in paperwork, rights and entitlements, getting a break, expert telephone advice and support service.

Carers Trust helps young carers to cope with their caring role through specialist services delivered by Carers Trust Network partners across the UK. A young carer is someone under 18 who helps look after someone in their family, or a friend, who is ill, disabled or misuses drugs or alcohol.

Support for Carers Leicestershire supports carers throughout the county. The service is run by Voluntary Action South Leicestershire (VASL), a community-based organisation with a long and successful history of supporting carers. We're here to help anyone who's a carer in Leicestershire, whether you care full-time or for just a few hours a week.
