Nurse Practitioners

Nurse Emily Davison (f)

Nurse Practitioners are clinically trained to assess, diagnose, prescribe and treat patients. They are highly skilled and have expertise in caring for patients with minor injuries, illnesses and conditions. They work closely with the doctors at the surgery.

Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, immunisation clinics and carry out cervical smears.
